In other to buy or sell on eBuyNigeria, you would need to register on the site. Registration is simple and only takes a matter minutes. To start the signup process, click on the “register” link at the top of this page.
The resulting page includes a form which you are required to fill. You can do that by following the steps below.
--The first step is to choose a username which is unique to you because it would be your identifier on everything you do on the site. Pls note that Usernames cannot be changed because this breaks our database. Usernames cannot be sold or traded or squatted upon. Each account can only have one username.
--Thereafter you enter a password that can be easily remembered by you and not easily guessed.
--Thereafter you fill in you personal information and please not that your email and phone number must be valid as it would be used to contact you.
--Then finally you select a security question and answer which would be used to verify your account in the event of a forgotten password.
By clicking on the “Register” button from the bottom of the page, your account is activated instantly.
Buying is very easy. All you need to do is search through the marketplace, find an item that you want either by browsing through the category list or making use of the advanced search tool. When you find an item you want, you contact the seller and let him know of your interest in his products. Its now left for the seller to contact you and conduct the transaction.
Its as easy as that.
How can I Start Selling?
You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Start Selling Items" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description.
Below is steps to help guide you.
For assistance, follow this simple steps to list items.
--Choose a general category for the Item
--Choose a sub-category that best fits you item
--Enter a name/title that best suites your item
--Enter a summarised introductory description in the "sumary form field", because this is where the item highlights would be summarised in a nutshell.
--Fill in a detailed description in the next field to let buyers know everything they need to know about your product
--Upload an image of the item. Pls note that it is very important you upload an image because you item has a very high being purchased because it can be seen.
--Enter an "asking/offer" price in the next field to let buyers have an idea of the cost.
--Select the condition of the item
--Enter a location where the item is available
When you have successfully listed your item, all you need do is to sitback and watch you product sell itself...

Once you have successfully logged in using the login forms from the login page (click on the “login” button from the page header), you will be redirected to the members area page. This page is divided into 3 parts:

*On this page, you will be able to read mails that have been sent to you by prospective buyers and also see their contact details. With the mail management system, pls note that mails exceeding 30days would be removed therefore you should ensure you read your mails before the 30days expiration.
ACCOUNT INFORMATIONS
There are three areas available on this part.
*You can be able to view your membership details and thereafter updating it if you wish. It is very important that you keep you membership details updated because thats what would reflect on your profile for buyers to see.
*You can also view/update your listed items from this section. Its important so that you can be able to edit your listed items with additional informations. Likewise you can also view your ratings in this section. click here to know more about ratings.
*You can also verify your membership by clicking the second link.Note that in getting your account verified you would have to enter you business and banking details which would then be checked by our verification department. The essence of this is to improve your profile and verified members are more trusted than unverified members. E-PAYMENTS
*You can fund you account by clicking the link you see under this section. Note that it is important you have funds in your account so as to enable you read mails that emanate from prospective buyers.
*Also From this part, you will be able to view your account balance and transaction history.
